On the afternoon of January 7, the Company held the Safety and Environmental Protection Work Conference for MCC Group and China MCC for 2025. The conference thoroughly studied and understood General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives on safety and environmental protection. It further implemented the relevant decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. The meeting comprehensively summarized and systematically planned the safety and environmental protection work, providing strong support for the Company to promote its transformation and upgrading, and accelerate the realization of the "One Goal, Two Best, Five Strengths" goals. Chen Jianguang, a member of the Party Leadership Group, Vice President, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group, and Chairman of both MCC Group and China MCC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Bai Xiaohu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and China MCC, and Vice President of China MCC, presented a safety and environmental protection work report. Representatives from 35 subsidiaries received the 2025 Safety and Environmental Protection Target Responsibility Letter. The meeting was chaired by Wang Zirui, the Company's Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Safety Officer.
The meeting pointed out that in 2024, the company fully strengthened the grassroots foundation of safety and environmental protection, focusing on core risk prevention, continuously reinforcing safety responsibilities for all employees, and maintaining an overall stable safety and environmental protection situation. For 2025, the company will continue to take General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on safety and environmental protection as its fundamental guideline and action compass. It will consistently maintain a global, systematic, and proactive approach to thoroughly implement safety and environmental protection responsibilities, continuously carry out fundamental improvements, and focus on implementing key tasks, including "One Sense, Eight Strengths, One Bottom Line," to systematically enhance the ability to prevent and control safety and environmental risks.

This meeting was held in a "on-site + video" format. Members of the company's leadership team, non-leadership executives, other work team members, heads of subsidiaries, Party Committee Secretaries of Shanghai enterprises, heads of various departments at the headquarters, and relevant personnel attended the main meeting. Subsidiaries, their subordinate branches, and project departments (production plants) participated in the conference via 3,666 video sub-meetings. A total of 22,595 people attended the meeting.
